STAR Chapter 297 - Ride around Lake Okeechobee
Sunday, October 10, 2004 - For this trip, we took a group ride around Lake Okeechobee. We started at 84 Diner in Davie, FL and headed to the lake via US 27. We had to change our lunch plans because the place we planned to eat at was closed due to damage from Hurricane Charley, Hurricane Frances, and Hurricane Jeanne. In fact, we saw quite a bit of damage as a result of the hurricanes as documented in some of the following pictures.
