Gadget goes to Naples - oops, Marco Island.

The original ride was Gadget goes to Naples. Well, turns out Gadget is a terrible finder of places to eat, so he let Shannon do the work. Thanks Shannon.

So, on the Shannon goes to Marco Island ride we headed down US 27 from Everglades Holiday Park. Onto Krome Avenue to US 41 (Tamiami Trail) where we headed west through the everglades. Turning South we found Marco Island and the Snook Inn.

It was a scorcher that day so arriving at the Snook Inn to get out of the sun was welcome. We were seated immediately. The service was fast and efficient, the prices reasonable and the food excellent. Worth coming back to.

On the ride home we headed North early and found ourselves on Alligator Alley. No tolls on the way east so it was clear sailing all the way home. Thanks everyone for coming along.
