Armed Forces Day - Veterans Cemetery

In honor of Armed Forces Day, our Star Vets Rep Don Crites put together a ride to the Veterans National Cemetery in Lake Worth. We met at Lester's Diner in Margate taking 441 all the way North to the Cemetery. The Cemetery has only been around for a couple of years. It is supposed to have available sites for up to 40 years.

Don prepared a short presentation about his brother-in-law Richard W. Thompson who rests in peace here. Richard served in both the Airforce and Army and had over 18 years service to his country.

After our visit to the cemetery we headed into Coral Springs for pizza. This was a great ride and we had a really good turnout. Thanks Don.
