Leesburg Bikefest - Round 1

Chapter 297 participated in Leesburg Bikefest again this year. Several different groups rode up using different routes. Although a lot of us stayed at the Hampton Inn at The Villages in Lady Lake, we were spread all over the area.
Our chapter hosted a Star Touring and Riding Meet 'n' Greet BBQ at Griffin State Park just North of Leesburg on Saturday. We had plenty of food and refreshments. Due to a smaller than expected crowd there were lots of leftovers, but the park emplyees help us find needy families to donate the perishable food to.
After the BBQ, former chapter members Jeff and Lori Salmons and their friend Bob led us on a guided tour of some great area roads.
