Lake Okeechobee - Lightsey's for Lunch
Sunday, August 12 - had a big turnout for a ride around the lake. Hot and humid, as usual. We headed up 441 into West Palm Beach to pick up a few tag along riders. From there we headed out 98 toward the lake. After a few mis-cues and circuitous routes, we all ended up at Lightsey's for lunch. Some of us had eaten and paid before others had gotten served. Oh well, that's what happens when you sit 28 people all at once. We almost got rained on as we came around the southern edge of the lake, but lucked out by just skirting the storm.
