Way to go Gail, help keep the group safe on your many journeys ahead. Did you get the nice badge that they give out?

Hey Chris,

A friend of mine who had 25 on the job in NYC just got on to the FTL dept, Joe Ryan.
Can you give me some info on the Tin Star process.

Thanks.

Hi Alan,

Chris moved out of state a few years ago and probably doesn't check the message board regularly if at all. If you or your friend wants to become a Tin Star, simply click the following link and you will find an application and required qualifications to complete the process. Here is the link: http://startouring.org/tinstar.aspx

The best information is going to the web site Eric posted. The application for the TinStar is there. All you need to do is to fill it out, meeting the qualifacations outlined. Then mail it off to Star International, I believe the address is given to you at the site. Thas all there is to it.

Eric was right, about not checking up on the site very often, but just because I moved to Ga. doesn't mean I forget my friends. I am now a Deputy Sheriff in Forsyth County Ga. and have been doing that for the last 2 years. Now a total of 29 years as a LEO............Just like the others said, go to the main web page and they will steer you in the right direction.
