Mike & Melody and a large group of friends are going to add close to 300 miles to our bikes that have been hibernating through the winter months.......we are riding to the Florida West Coast Islands of Sanibel and Captiva via scenic highway 27 and Hwy 80!

On arrival, we will enjoy lunch at the Island Cow Eatery, a Sanibel Island favorite. A local Bistro known for their airy atmosphere, with french doors out to the front and back patios. They serve "udderly great food". Breakfast served until Noon Sunday, lunch starting at 11:00 AM. http://www.islandcoweatery.com.

We are meeting at 7:30 AM at Cafe 27. Kickstands up at 8:00 AM. We will ride 27 North, 80 East to the Sanibel Causeway, onto Periwinkle Way. Rest stop in Clewiston. Approx 145 miles.

Return will be via Fort Myers Beach, Bonita Beach merging onto I-75. Approx 130 miles.

Get your bike ready for a long scenic spring ride.....check oil, tires, battery.........bring your sunpass.

Star Chapter 297 is riding to Destination Daytona on Saturday and some of the group will return on Saturday and others on Sunday. Posting should be up soon.
